About

Health Innovation Media was borne in February 2013 under the banner The Health Innovation Broadcast Consortium. Also known as ‘HIBC.tv’ we structured an association of healthcare industry journalists, content producers, bloggers and ‘twitterati’ laying a foundation for an independent source of health innovation news.

We launched in New Orleans at the Health Information Management Systems Society (HiMSS) 2013 Conference & Exhibition (‘5 Days in March: A Tale of Independent Media Passion, Determination and Agility‘) to a warm reception and strong demand for our news gathering and live video streaming services. We logged in excess of 35 thought leader and entrepreneurial interviews which we live-streamed via the web generating in excess of 320,000 viewer minutes with an average audience retention per segment of 17 minutes.

Since launch we’ve rebranded to Health Innovation Media (including Health Innovation TV) and continue our mission to cover major conferences in the health innovation theater from ‘idea to business model‘. In addition we produce and host internet radio shows including This Week in Health Innovation‘, PopHealth Week and This Week in Accountable Care on the Blogtalk Radio Network and syndicate our shows at HealthCareNOW Radio. We also private label and brand content on a client specific basis to assist in conference messaging, amplification, engagement and digital footprint extension to target audiences.

Our continuing mission at Health Innovation Media is to sustain and build on an extensive and high quality portfolio of ‘digital assets’ via subject matter experts sourced from talented independent media producing timely, in depth content for all digital media channels and platforms.

Our co-hosts and editors bring their considerable social media footprint to the cause. All actively engage on the largest and most relevant social media networks – principally twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
